Gray Marble-Look Full Bathroom in Harbor Gateway

Full bathroom with light gray marble-look wall tiles, floating vanity, and glass shower enclosure in Harbor Gateway home

About This Project

A full bathroom remodel in a Harbor Gateway home using light gray marble-look porcelain throughout — walls, shower enclosure, and floor. The tile runs consistently across all surfaces, which gives the room a unified, spa-like appearance. The marble-look pattern in the porcelain has natural variation in the veining, so we staggered the sheets during layout to avoid repeating the same vein pattern in adjacent tiles — a step that matters visually in a large, continuous tile field. The glass shower enclosure was already framed in by the contractor; we tiled around the hardware anchors and seal points carefully to ensure no water intrusion paths. The floating vanity was coordinated in height so the horizontal grout lines align behind it, keeping the wall reading cleanly even where the vanity obscures part of it.

What We Did

01
Substrate preparation and waterproofing membrane installation in shower zone
02
Layout planning to stagger vein pattern and align grout lines with vanity height
03
Wall tile set from reference line, shower enclosure tiled around glass hardware
04
Floor tile, grouting throughout, sealing, caulk at all transitions
